A needle perforating roller uses accurately arranged metal pins to create controlled holes in film, paper, foil, nonwoven and other moving web materials.
Pin size, projection, spacing and pattern are customized according to the required perforation and machine design.

Micro-perforating patterns, pin arrangements and working widths can be customized. Sleeves, segments and needle rings allow selected working sections to be replaced without changing the complete roller.
Copper & Aluminum Construction
Roller bodies, sleeves, segments and needle-ring carriers can be manufactured in copper or aluminum.
Material, dimensions and pin arrangement are matched to the hot or cold process and the approved equipment drawing.
Re-Pinning & Refurbishment
Existing needle rollers can be re-pinned or refurbished when the roller body and shaft remain suitable for reuse.

Can the roller and pin dimensions be customized?
Yes. Roller diameter, working width, pin diameter, projection, spacing, density and pattern are made to the approved drawing. There is no fixed catalogue size; manufacturing feasibility is confirmed for each design.
Can you reproduce an existing replacement roller?
Yes. Send a clear drawing or approved sample showing the finished dimensions, pin pattern and machine interface.
Does pin diameter determine the finished hole size?
Not by itself. The finished opening is also affected by pin-tip geometry, projection, penetration depth, web material, thickness and operating temperature.
Do you supply the complete perforating machine?
No. We manufacture needle perforating rollers and matching counter rollers. Heating systems, controls, guards and complete machines are outside the standard supply scope.
