In a concrete block machine, the feed drawer or feed box moves material across the mould during filling. Built for Concrete Block and Paver Production
This brush position can occur on machines producing concrete blocks, paving stones, kerbstones, and other vibro-pressed concrete products. The brush geometry follows the machine, mould configuration, and contact position; the finished product name alone does not establish interchangeability.
Mixed Filaments and Metal-Channel Construction
The brush can be built with outer PP or nylon bristles and inner flat steel wire bristles. The metal-channel backing, filament layout, density, exposed trim, and section length are specified around the cleaning duty and the existing holder.
We do not treat one backing size or brush height as universal across block machines. If you are replacing an existing strip, send the worn brush or a drawing showing the channel cross-section, overall brush height, working length, and mounting orientation.

Is a feed drawer strip brush the same as a rotating paver finishing brush?
No. A feed drawer strip brush works at a defined machine position to clean the tamper or mould shoes during the production cycle. A rotating finishing brush works directly on the surface or edges of newly formed blocks or pavers. If the brush position is unclear, send a photograph showing the brush, holder, and contacted component.
When should PP or nylon, flat steel wire, or mixed fill be used?
PP or nylon provides more flexible contact, while flat steel wire provides stronger cleaning action against adhering concrete residue. A mixed construction can use outer plastic bristles to support and protect the inner flat-wire rows. The final arrangement depends on the residue, contact direction, available clearance, and observed wear pattern.
Can you supply brush-only sections or a complete holder assembly?
Yes. We can manufacture replacement brush sections alone or supply them pre-mounted in a custom aluminum or steel holder or track. The holder material, section layout, hole pattern, and mounting interface are confirmed from the drawing or sample.
