Flexible brush seals provide controlled contact around moving or irregular equipment gaps where a rigid profile is difficult to fit.
- Nacelle and tower gaps
Help reduce the entry of dust, moisture, and debris around the nacelle-to-tower interface.
- Hub and blade-pitch interfaces
Follow circular or curved openings around rotor and pitch-control areas.
- Curved and angular apertures
Seal non-linear equipment contours with straight, angled, or formed profiles.
- Service and access openings
Provide flexible contact around selected covers, panels, and maintenance interfaces.
- Onshore and offshore equipment
Review UV, ozone, rain, salt, temperature, and movement requirements for the installation environment.
Drawing-Based OEM Production
Send an approved drawing for custom production. Define the gap geometry, mounting profile, brush height, filament material, density, movement, clearance, environmental conditions, and quantity. Large-volume OEM and replacement orders are supported.

Where are brush seals used in wind turbines?
Typical locations include nacelle-to-tower gaps, hub and rotor interfaces, blade-pitch areas, and selected curved or circular access openings.
Can you provide UV-resistant or flame-retardant brush materials?
Yes. UV-resistant, weathering-resistant, or flame-retardant filament and backing grades can be reviewed when the required material classification and operating conditions are specified on the drawing.
Can the brush seal follow a curved or circular path?
Yes. Straight, angled, curved, axial, radial, and formed profiles can be produced to the approved drawing and mounting path.
Does a brush seal make a wind-turbine gap fully waterproof?
Not by default. Brush seals provide flexible contact and help reduce dust, moisture, and debris ingress. The complete sealing design, clearance, pressure, drainage, and environmental requirements must be reviewed for the equipment.
