Controlled Lubricant Distribution

What Is a Chain Lubrication Brush?

A chain lubrication brush is a short brush head that lightly contacts a moving chain and distributes lubricant across the working contact area. The brush can be connected to a manual oil source, oil line, or automatic lubricator, depending on the equipment design.

Chain Lubrication Brush Types We Manufacture

  1. Flat Lubrication Brushes

Short rectangular brush heads for covering the working width of a chain. Suitable for conveyor chains, drive chains, and compact lubrication stations.

  2. Round Lubrication Brushes

Compact round brush heads for narrow chains, sprockets, and confined access areas. Brush diameter and trim follow the required contact area.

  3. Axial / Rear-Feed Lubrication Brushes

Lubricant enters through an axial or rear threaded connection and is distributed through the brush head to the bristle contact area.

  4. Side-Feed Lubrication Brushes

Lubricant enters through a lateral threaded connection where rear or top clearance is limited.

FAQ

What is the difference between a lubrication brush and a chain-cleaning brush?

A lubrication brush applies oil or grease to a moving chain. A chain-cleaning brush is selected primarily to remove buildup and debris.

Which brush head should I choose?

Flat heads cover a wider chain section, while round heads suit narrow chains or confined areas. Axial, rear-feed, and side-feed connections are selected according to the oil line and available installation space.

Can the brush connect to an automatic lubricator?

Yes. The inlet, thread, connection direction, and mounting position can be made to the approved lubrication-system drawing.

Which fill materials are available?

Nylon and synthetic fiber fills are available for controlled lubricant distribution. Filament diameter, trim, and density are specified for the chain and lubricant requirements.

Can you manufacture replacement brushes in volume?

Yes. Send the approved drawing with the brush dimensions, fill, body, connection, mounting details, and quantity for OEM or replacement production.
