Conveyor Brushes for OEM Systems

Custom conveyor brushes for cleaning, guiding, sealing, and product handling in OEM equipment and replacement installations. Built around belt width, mounting interface, process conditions, and repeat supply requirements.

Conveyor Equipment

Built for Conveyor Equipment

Conveyor brushes can clean belts, control carryback, guide or support products, close gaps, and assist line automation. The suitable brush form depends on the function, contact surface, mounting space, and replacement interface.

Core Conveyor Brush Functions

Three Conveyor Brush Functions

01

Guiding and Product Positioning

Strip, flexible strip, and roller brushes can be configured as conveyor guide rail brushes for guiding, separating, lightly holding, or positioning products at side rails, transfer points, sorting equipment, and machine infeed zones. Trim, density, and contact force should control the product without marking or jamming it.

Typical tasks

Guiding · Side control · Hold-down · Separation · Singulation · Product presentation for grading · Low-friction sliding contact

02

Conveyor Belt Cleaning Brushes

Cylinder and spiral brushes are used in brush-based cleaning modules to remove loose material, dust, and residual carryback from conveyor belts. These rotary formats can also be specified for chain conveyor cleaning when the conveyor geometry and mounting interface are provided. Strip brushes can seal gaps and limit dust escape around guards, transfer points, and moving belt edges.

Typical tasks

Belt cleaning · Chain conveyor cleaning · Carryback removal · Loose-debris cleaning · Transfer-point control

03

Gentle Conveying and Product Support

Brush assemblies can support, separate, orient, and transfer solid products into packaging, assembly, or inspection positions when flexible contact is preferred over rigid tooling. Brush form, trim, spacing, and cleanability are selected around the product and machine cycle.

Typical tasks

Product support · Separation · Orienting · Cavity loading · Carton and tray transfer · Assembly-line positioning

Conveyor Line Review

Conveyor Line Details for Brush Selection

01

Brush Function

Confirm whether the brush cleans a belt or chain conveyor, removes carryback, guides a product, seals a gap, or supports product movement. Each job may require a different brush form.

02

Contact Surface

Identify the belt, chain, product, or surface being contacted, plus any moisture, dust, abrasive material, washdown, or surface-sensitivity requirement.

03

Mounting Interface

For a new or replacement brush, a drawing, measured sample, or marked photos should show the shaft or bore, holder or channel, mounting direction, and available installation space.

04

Operating Conditions

For rotating brush assemblies, state line speed, RPM if known, temperature, and duty cycle. Long or faster roller brushes may need a project-specific balance review.

Custom OEM and Replacement Brushes

From Drawing or Sample

For new OEM and replacement projects, a drawing, sample, or clearly marked photos provide the most reliable basis for confirming the brush form and mounting interface. Include the required function and material or contact requirements where known.
