Sweeper Wear Part
A sweeper side brush, also called a gutter broom or side broom, rotates at the front or side of the machine. It moves debris away from curbs, gutters, corners and road edges into the collection path of the main broom or vacuum system.
Correct fit depends on the top plate, center opening, bolt pattern, finished diameter and installed angle. The machine model is a useful reference, but these mounting details must still be confirmed.

These machine names are replacement references, not universal part numbers. Final compatibility is confirmed from the old brush, drawing or complete mounting dimensions before production.
Construction Options
A complete circular plastic or wood top plate carries the brush fill and mounts to the sweeper hub. We can manufacture large round-top gutter brooms with finished diameters up to 1,100 mm, subject to the approved plate, mounting and fill construction.
Separate brush blocks mount around the drive plate and can simplify replacement on machines designed for individual segments. Segment count, block shape, holes, bolt spacing and orientation must match the approved drawing.
Fill Selection
PP side brushes are used for routine road litter, dust and general paved-surface sweeping where a less aggressive filament is suitable.
Flat or round steel wire provides stronger loosening and cutting action for compacted curb debris, rough pavement and demanding sweeping conditions. Wire dimensions and grade must match the application and machine load.
For refillable gutter-broom plates, segments or steel holders, worn flat steel wire bundles can be supplied separately to retain the existing mounting structure.
Mixed fill combines synthetic bristles for carrying debris with steel wire for loosening more resistant material. The poly-to-wire arrangement, row layout and tuft density are manufactured to the approved specification.

Brush selection should account for the machine's down pressure, operating angle and contact pattern. Excessive pressure or an incorrect angle can increase wear without improving debris collection.

For OEM and replacement projects, start with the sweeper manufacturer, model or existing part number, then confirm the physical interface from the drawing or old brush.
After the mounting, fill and approved specification are confirmed, the same brush can be produced in repeat batches. For an unfamiliar replacement, send the old brush or dimensioned photos before production.

Include the order quantity, inspection requirements, packaging and expected reorder schedule in the RFQ. The approved specification can then be used for future repeat orders.
Purchasing Questions
Provide the finished brush diameter, top-plate or block dimensions, plate height, center opening, bolt count, bolt-hole diameter, bolt-circle diameter, installed angle, row count and trim length. A drawing or old brush is the safest reference.
The machine model is a useful starting point but is not always sufficient. Model revisions and regional configurations may use different mounting plates or brush constructions. Confirm the old-brush dimensions and mounting side before production.
PP is commonly used for general sweeping and less aggressive contact. Steel wire is used where compacted debris and rough surfaces need more cutting action. Mixed fill combines synthetic debris carrying with wire agitation. Final selection depends on the surface, debris, machine load and any restriction on loose metal fragments.
Yes, when the existing gutter-broom plate, segment or steel holder is designed for removable or refillable wire bundles. Send one old bundle and the holder dimensions so the wire size, bundle count, end fixing and installed length can be matched. If the wire is permanently tufted or molded into the plate, a complete plate or segment may be required instead.
