Individual replacement brush discs
Replacement discs matched to the existing shaft and brush specification.

Stacked brush discs for steel strip cleaning, polishing and surface conditioning. Custom brush discs and roll assemblies made to your drawing, with bulk supply for OEM and replacement orders.
Send Your Brush Roll DrawingA disc-type brush roll, also called a disk brush roll or stacked disc brush roll, is a cylindrical brush assembled from individual brush discs along a shaft. Each disc carries outward-facing filament bundles; together, the discs create the working face that contacts the strip or sheet.
In this construction, filaments are secured through holes in metal plates. The plates are stacked and retained to match the required face length, brush density and machine interface.

Replacement discs matched to the existing shaft and brush specification.
Matched sets of brush discs for the required working face length.
Brush discs assembled with a shaft and end fittings to the agreed drawing.

We provide nylon filaments containing abrasive particles, arranged in bundles on the metal brush discs.
Common filament diameters: 0.25, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.6 and 2.0 mm.
Abrasive type, grit, filament diameter, nylon grade and trim are selected for the workpiece, required finish and wet or dry conditions.
The binding wire that secures the bundles to the plate is a retaining component; it does not mean the roll uses exposed steel-wire fill.
Review abrasive filament brush rollersMaterial selection depends on temperature and chemical contact at the brushing station, not simply the name of the process line.
Selected discs may be replaced where the shaft and retaining design allow disassembly. Match the remaining discs' condition, OD and fill specification, then confirm whether final trimming and runout or balance checks are required. Uneven wear may make a complete matched stack more suitable.
That depends on access and the assembly. A full-circle disc normally needs access from a shaft end; stacked discs do not automatically provide the same installation method as split-core brushes.
A disc-type roll uses separate metal brush discs stacked along the shaft. A spiral-wound brush uses brush strip wound helically around a core. The construction affects fill layout, density, retention and replacement. Neither is universally better for every line.
Start with the existing successful specification and the required surface finish. Abrasive, grit, filament diameter and contact load work together; wet-line chemistry and temperature also affect selection. A trial may be needed when changing the specification.
Send your disc or complete-roll drawing, required quantity, and whether you need individual discs, a complete stack, or a roll assembly. We'll review the drawing and clarify any missing details.
